Geared towards children in Elementary and Middle School (2nd-8th grade), in the 20 minute “Ready, Set, Sing!” video class below, you will learn about basic singing techniques such as vowel sounds, tone, posture, and breath support. This video class will help prepare you for an RVCC audition :)

Join the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir!
Auditions are open to boys and girls 7-17 years old. We are excited to have more beautiful young singers sing with us in the RVCC! Auditions are fast and friendly! We are especially looking for lots of new young singers in 2nd-5th grade!
Winter 2021 RVCC Newcomer Auditions
TIME:
December 4th, 2021, 12:00 - 1:00 pm
PLACE:
The 2021 RVCC auditions will be held outside at Bethel Baptist Church in Salem. You can come at an available time you choose in the offered time slots, with each audition lasting about 5-15 minutes. In order to stay safe with COVID-19, there will be built-in precautions at the auditions. There will be people helping direct where to park, and you can just wait in your car until your time to audition!
