Hello and warm wishes to our RVCC Alumni, families, and dear friends of the choir,

I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits as we prepare for another beautiful concert season. As we move into this exciting time, we are also preparing to kick off our annual fundraising campaign, and I want to begin by offering my deepest gratitude to each of you who has supported us in the past.

This year marks my 39th year directing the choir, and looking back on these many years, I am filled with pride and joy. I have had the privilege of watching so many children grow into remarkable young adults, carrying the values of resilience, determination, and community with them as they move through life.

I want to begin by offering my deepest gratitude to each of you who has supported us in the past. To our generous annual donors, your continued commitment to the RVCC has been absolutely vital. It is thanks to your support that we are still here, thriving and growing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Will you consider a gift this year in the same amount as last year?

And if you are considering donating for the first time, please know that every gift (big or small!) makes a significant impact and helps us continue to offer the enriching experience of music, community, and personal growth to these wonderful children. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

The tradition of excellence and community in our choir lives on, and I feel so blessed to continue that legacy. Working with these young singers year after year has reminded me how special the RVCC truly is. It continues to be a place where children feel secure, welcomed, and inspired, where friendships grow naturally and music becomes a part of each child’s life forever. We are growing tomorrow’s leaders, one voice at a time! Your donation makes a difference!

We have some exciting news to share! This year, the choir has grown by an incredible 30 singers! Our A Choir now has 23 singers (up from 12 last year), and the B Choir has grown to 41 singers (up from 23). This growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our recruiting efforts, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. It’s an exciting time for the RVCC, and we’re so grateful to each of you for helping make this possible as we continue to re-build our enrollment after the 2020 pandemic.

For anybody who donates any amount, we will be giving access to a special livestream of our Holiday Concert on December 20th at 4:00 PM. If you can’t be with us in person, we would love for you to join us virtually to share in the music and the magic of the season. Instructions on how to access the livestream concert video will be sent via email to everyone who donates online to the fundraiser.

I am deeply grateful for all of you: our alumni, current families, and dear friends of the choir. Whether you’re able to donate a little or a lot, every gift is cherished, and we are so grateful for your continued support. ALL donation amounts will help keep us singing and continue changing lives, one voice at a time.  ♪

With heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes for a joyful and peaceful holiday season,

Kim Davidson
