From May 8-10 the RVCC Concert Choir loaded the bus and headed to Gatlinburg, Tennessee! The weekend was filled with a mix of singing and having lots of fun! The High School Concert Choir sang for judges and received a high score of Superior. The choir also sang for the Sunday service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pulaski where they were warmly welcomed for the service and a lovely lunch! In between singing, the choir enjoyed the mountain top views of the Gatlinburg Sky Park, the roller coasters, rides, music, and flowers at Dollywood, a truly southern Barbeque Dinner and some free time to explore downtown Gatlinburg. The choir sang with so much beauty and heart and soul it brought tears to the eyes of many and they turned around and had so much fun that smiles and joy filled their expressions. Congratulations Concert Choir for the Superior rating, the extra meaningful singing at the church, and for sharing so much fun and choir friendships throughout the trip!
