The Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir
150 children ages 4-18 from around the Roanoke Valley come together each week to sing traditional and fun choral music, with a focus on beautiful singing, musical excellence, and lasting bonds of friendship and accomplishment.
Mission Statement: To provide youth with exceptional musical instruction and performance opportunities in a safe and inclusive environment.
Vision Statement: To develop confident leaders and team members who apply their talent and experience to strengthen and elevate their communities.

October 14-15: RVCC Fall Retreat, 4-H Center, Smith Mountain Lake
October 19: Concert Choir Performance at Health Sciences Career Advisory Summit, Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, Carilion
November 2: Concert Choir performance at Blue Ridge Jamboree, On the Rise, at the Jefferson Center 7:00 PM
November 18: Kindness Day! All choristers performance for residents at 3 Care Facilities and then sharing more Acts of Kindness in the Community. (Richfield Oaks Building, Friendship South, Old Southwest)
November 29: B B+ Choirs performance at RSO Youth Symphony Discovery Concert at the Jefferson Center. Performances at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
December 1: Concert Choir with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra for Holiday Pops at Salem Civic Center, 7:30 PM
December 2: RVCC Community Sing-A-Long! Come, Sing with us! Taubman Art Museum at 11:00 AM
December 2: Concert Choir with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra for Holiday Pops. At Moss Center at VT, 4:00 PM
December 9: Concert Choir Christmas Carols performance at Grand Home Furnishings Valley View at 1:00-2:00 PM

May 17, 20: Newcomer Classes and auditions held at Bethel Baptist Church
June 25-30: Concert Choir to Virginia Choral Fest 2024 at Christopher Newport University
