Preparing for a good camera and Zoom Set Up:
Fun Holiday Video Montage!
Immediately after you have recorded your Zoom call video with the choir, it’s time to celebrate! Like the Spring Concert, we are going to have a Dance and Celebration party compilation of video clips from you. We would like for everyone to send in a video clip of decorating for Christmas, dancing, reading a Holiday story with loved ones, lighting candles, sharing a holiday tradition. Santa hats, red scarves, hanging up Christmas stockings, happy smiles, fun dance moves. Your best, happiest, holiday you (and a family member or pet!!) for about 10 seconds and then send it in. Lots of happy!! Lots of dancing!!
· Video side to side (NOT UP AND DOWN). We can only use side to side videos.
· Stay dressed up in your formal costume.
SMILE and look at the camera!
· Send your Holiday Dance/Fun video using the upload button to submit to Dropbox.
· The song that you’ll be dancing/having fun to is the C Choir singing, “We Wish You the Merriest”. It is the happiest song from the 40’s with words like, “May your days be filled with happiness. Deck the halls! We’re gonna have a ball!” It’s catchy and super happy and fun.
Please upload your 10 second video holiday greeting or fun dancing clip with the upload button. Videos should be taken side to side (not up and down). You can also upload any photos you took from concert recording day using this same Dropbox link.
Choristers should be wearing your formal costume (the same thing you wore for our Zoom video recording). You can add something Christmassy with your formal costume to make it look more festive if you'd like for your video clip!
Holiday Greetings and FUN Celebration Dance Party Video Clip Ideas:
Make and hold a sign that says... Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, We wish you the merriest, Happy New Year, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, or your favorite holiday greeting!
Smile and dance wearing a Santa Hat or Christmas hat (elf, reindeer ears, Christmas bow)
