RVCC New Members Information for May 2022

Congratulations on becoming a new member of the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir!

On this page you will find all the information you need to register as a new RVCC member.

Please know which choir to register your child for.

• Rising 2nd-3rd grader who participated in the Little Singers = “A” Choir

• Rising 2nd-3rd grader who attended a Ready, Set, Sing Class = “A” Choir

• Rising 4th-5th grader who attended a Ready, Set, Sing Class = “B” Choir

• Rising 6th-8th grader accepted via audition = “B+” Choir

• Rising 9th-12th grader accepted via audition = “C” Choir

Register your chorister and set up tuition payments online through Active Network for the 2022-2023 Choir Year. There is a $50 registration fee due at the time of registration. Registration is due by June 10th, 2022.

Scholarships are available!

$200 New Member Scholarships

These scholarships are based on a teacher/parent recommendation OR a personal student application. The online form is simple and easy to fill out! Anyone who attended an in-person class is eligible to receive a new member scholarship. Apply online using the button below.

New Member Scholarship applications are due by May 25th, 2022.

Please apply and have your new member scholarship coupon code to enter BEFORE you register. You must enter the scholarship coupon code at the time of registration to receive your tuition discount.

Financial Aid Scholarships

These scholarships are need based and given on a case-by-case basis to families who need financial assistance. Full and partial tuition scholarships are available to new and returning members each year. This scholarship application is more thorough to fill out and can be submitted online. Apply online using the button below.

Financial Aid Scholarship applications are due by June 10th, 2022.

RVCC REHEARSAL SCHEDULE (August 2022 - April 2023)

• A & B Choir = Mondays from 4:00-5:30pm

• B+ Choir = Mondays from 5:00-6:30pm

• C Choir = Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm

  All weekly choir rehearsals are at at Bethel Baptist Church in Salem, VA.

Roanoke Valley Children's Choir Tuition Costs

The Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir is a year long choral program for singers in 2nd-12th grade. The 2022-2023 Choir year will be from August 2022 - April 2023. We have recently updated and streamlined our tuition payment process. All fees are now combined into a one time $50 registration + tuition payment plan system for the whole year.

TUITION COSTS FOR THE 2022-2023 CHOIR YEAR:  

Tuition payments are made through the Active network system. The yearly tuition is broken down into smaller monthly payments paid on the 5th of each month from August 5th, 2022 - February 5th, 2023. These prices are for the full year costs which includes the Fall and Spring semester (August ‘22-April ‘23).

SAVE $25! Early Bird Registration of $50 is due by June 10th. 2022. After this date, the standard registration fee for all choirs is $75.

• A/B Choir: $525 yearly tuition + $50 Registration fee (due by June 10th)

  Tuition can be paid in 7 Monthly Payments of $75.00

  With a $200 New Member Scholarship, your 7 monthly payments would be $46.43

  
  

• B+ Choir: $550 yearly tuition + $50 Registration fee (due by June 10th)

  Tuition can be paid in 7 Monthly Payments of $78.57

  With a $200 New Member Scholarship, your 7 monthly payments would be $50.00

• C Choir: $625 yearly tuition + $50 Registration fee (due by June 10th)

  Tuition can be paid in 7 Monthly Payments of $89.29

  With a $200 New Member Scholarship, your 7 monthly payments would be $60.71

** If you have more than one child in the RVCC, we offer a $20 discount per child for any child AFTER the first child.  The first child pays the full price.
