RVCC New Members Information for Spring 2022
Congratulations on becoming a new member of the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir!
On this page you will find all the information you need to know to register and be prepared for the first rehearsal as a new RVCC member.
Please know which choir to register your child for.
If your child participated in a recent “Little Singers” Class, they will join the RVCC “A” Choir.
If your child attended the “Ready, Set, Sing” class and is in 2nd-3rd grade, they will join the RVCC “A” Choir.
If your child attended the “Ready, Set, Sing” class and is in 4th-5th grade, they will join the RVCC “B” Choir.
If your child auditioned and was accepted into the B+ Choir, they will join the “B+” Choir
If your child auditioned and was accepted into the Concert Choir, they will join the “C” Choir.
STEP 1:
Register your chorister and set up tuition payments online through Active Network for the Spring 2022 Choir Semester.
Tuition Prices for the Spring 2022 Semester:
A and B Choir: $300 Total (broken down in 3 payments)
$100 deposit due at the time of registration
$100 due on February 5th, 2022
$100 due on March 5th, 2022
B+ Choir: $320 Total (broken down in 3 payments)
$100 deposit due at the time of registration
$110 due on February 5th, 2022
$110 due on March 5th, 2022
C Choir: $350 Total (broken down in 3 payments)
$100 deposit due at the time of registration
$125 due on February 5th, 2022
$125 due on March 5th, 2022
*Scholarships are available for those who need it. Download and print the RVCC Scholarship application below. Scholarship applications must be submitted via USPS mail to the address printed on the form.
Step 2:
Purchase Choir T-Shirt and Music Books Online through Active Network. Items purchased online will be handed out at rehearsal.
$13 = Choir T-Shirt (required for all choristers)
$15 = RVCC Tote Bag (optional)
$5 = Sing Legato Book (required for all choristers)
$7 = Theory Book 1 (required for all choristers who are not currently taking additional music lessons that include music theory instruction)

Download the RVCC Calendar of rehearsal and performance dates to keep for your reference.
Step 4:
You’re all set for choir! Ready for rehearsals to start! Check your email for more information as it gets closer to the start of the Semester. We are so excited to have YOU as a new singer in the RVCC!
