The Little Singers Class!
Sing, Learn, Move, Dance, Play, and Explore Music Together! We love making music with our youngest singers!
6-Week Class = $60 per child
Spring Semester Classes: March 2nd - April 20th, 2020
Class 1: Mondays, 5:00-5:45
This class will be geared more towards the Pre-School age, but all are welcome! (Open to Ages 4 ½ - 6)
Class 2: Mondays, 6:00-6:45
This class will be geared more towards the Kindergarten - 1st Grade age. (Open to children in K - 2nd grade)
*If you have siblings who would like to be in the same class together but fall into different age groups, please sign up for the one class time that is most convenient for your schedule!

We are very excited to be starting a new class in the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir for young singers!
The Little Singers Class will be on Mondays in the Choir Room at Bethel Baptist Church. The class is open for children age 4 ½ - 7 years old with no audition required to join.

The Little Singers class is led by Kirsti Davidson and will be filled with lots of fun songs to sing together!
This 6-week class will focus on nurturing and developing each child’s love of music through song, movements, activities, games, and more! Your child will learn basic music theory facts, practice how to match pitch, learn about singing with choral vowel sounds, learn about keeping a steady rhythm, practice movements and actions to the music, and have so much FUN singing along!

Mini Parent Recital
Both of the Little Singers classes will have their own mini recital for Parents on April 13th in the Bethel Baptist Church Santuary at the end of their class time. At the Parent Recital they will sing 2-3 songs they have learned in the class!
RVCC Concert Performance
For our last class and rehearsal together, the members of the both Little Singers Class will join together with the RVCC Sibling choir to create one combined “Little Singers Choir”. The Combined “Little Singers Choir” will perform a "Winnie the Pooh Medley" with the RVCC Concert Choir at both of the RVCC's 33rd Annual Spring Concerts on stage at the Jefferson Center on Sunday, April 26th. The costume for Winnie the Pooh will be brown pants with a red shirt. We will provide everyone with Winnie the Pooh ear headbands to complete the costume!
